~ Shipped to slaughter 12/4/07 ~Status: Available Price: $450.00 Arrived: 11/23/2007 Age: 2 Height: 14'0 Weight: 975 Gender: Mare Primary Color: sorrell Secondary Color: Type: Other Breed: American Quarter Horse x - Registration: Registerable Condition: Temperament: Training: This 2 year old filly isn't halter broke, she was supposedly halter broke as a yearling, but we are unable to catch her to confirm. The next time I am there, we will run her in the chute & get a halter on her. She is a nice looking quarter horse mare, her feet are in terrible condidition I'm guessing they have never been done. I had to talk the feedlot owner into letting me list this mare, she doesn't know anything, but wasn't mean or agressive, just not ever worked with. We can & will get a breeders certificate if someone wants to have her registered with the AQHA. Please contact Shawna Byington for more information. This one is a beauty! Just look at that sorrel color! I'll bet she will shine like a copper penny in summer. Look at how clean she has kept those white socks. . . She just needs a chance.

Oh no! I'm sorry this happened. Yet another horse with potential let down due to the stupidity of humans.
Please remember to make your calls to our elected leaders urging them to help put in end to slaughter.
Ugh. This is so sad.

Cat, You didn't let her down. Not you personally. You, at least tried. Her owners are responsible for her death. And don't you ever forget that! Kelly Quinn- I let you down...I pray that the end is swift. God, please don't let the babies die this way...

Did she go to her death in Mexico? What a horrible death.......A 2yr old registerable healthy filly for only $450?? Why isn't anyone asking for help on ABR board?? Did I miss something? The prices on this lot are reasonable and the horses very nice. What a tragedy!
