Hi there! I would be glad to help with what I can Where is copper located at this point? If he is in Washington and within a reasonable area I can come take a look, pull a fecal sample and check for worms for you and do a nutritional and sand colic work up on him for free. Until We get past christmas it is going to be hard to sneak away - but I can help over the phone to get you started, then set something up for Wednesday or Thursday to come take a look at this kid if you want. I have my cell phone today as I am running around - so feel free to give me a call to get something scheduled. 360-440-3317. Take care, Sara

Copper is doing great! I got the lab results back and everything is a little off which is expected in his condition and Sara feels he is borderline IR so we'll adjust his diet a bit. We are doing a follow up on blood work next Friday for comparison so jingles for Copper that they come back better. I am hoping to get some pictures of him tomorrow playing in the snow In danger of sounding like a broken record I really need help with the Copper Fund. I know money is tight with the holidays and every little bit matters and I really appreciate any and all help. I hope everyone had a beautiful Christmas! Have a safe New Year!

Wow Pam. You are a wonderful model of a human being that is beset by problems calling for the utmost in faith and endurance; and still remembering an animal that is dependent on your care. You leave no excuses for those who claim they must abandon their animals to starvation or slaughter because they have too many personal problems to solve.

Jingles and prayers needed for Copper tonight. He's down and we don't know right now if it's hypothermia or his liver shutting down . . . . . He's wrapped in blankets and has warm mash in front of him but he's very weak and can't get up, he's a fighter and needs us to fight with him

so far he's hanging on. His body temp is way to low and we are doing everything we know to help warm him up. It's snowing like crazy and this is the first time in my life I wish it would stop! Thanks for your prayers, it's keeping me going

I'm so glad to hear he's still hanging in there. These are the times when I wish a horse could come into the house! I love the image of a horse curled up next to the fireplace. I lit four candles for Copper, and you are both in my prayers. I really want this boy to make it, and to have the ability to have easy, joy-filled days again. Em so far he's hanging on. His body temp is way to low and we are doing everything we know to help warm him up. It's snowing like crazy and this is the first time in my life I wish it would stop! Thanks for your prayers, it's keeping me going

Rest in peace, beautiful boy. Where you are now you will always be healthy, well fed and young.
