We lost Sherry's Beloved Tara yesterday to colic. She was an incredible horse that was part of the Elliott family for many many years and had lived her life as boss mare out at Hytyme. She had some health problems during her last years that caused her to look thin and frail but as the vet would say and all of us at Hytyme, there is no stopping Tara she is in charge. She was in charge right up to her last moment, probably one of the most dignified old ladies I know. We will miss her terribly. Tara this is for you sweet gal.

Tara sounds like a very special girl. I'm happy that she was loved in her life and laid to rest with those she loved around her. I don't think any of us can ask more than this. RIP Tara. My condolences to all that will miss her. It's so hard to say goodbye.

What sad news...Jim and Sherry, you have my deepest sympathies...no matter how many horses you care for and how long they stay with you, they touch you and leave their personalities in your memories forever.
