Chanel: is a very sweet 3 year old tri-colored pinto mare. She is halter broke, stands for farrier work, easy to lead and is being continuously handled to be gentled. We will soon introduce her to the saddle to see how much training she has, but has not been ridden at this point. She is available for adoption. Adoption Fee: $3500Please contact Jim at: Jim@HTEquineRescue.comhytymeequinerescue.net

doesn't she look like the young Mustang mare down under the BLM heading that needs a new home right away? Just beautiful!

I am 99.9% sure that Chanel has been adopted, but check with Jim cause she is a very nice mare and I am always surprised she hadn't been snatched up sooner!
MTA: I found out today that Chanel is actually not adopted, she is just being trained so she can got to a home already trained.
So she is still available!

Chanel is doing great, she is ready to go up for adoption as she is doing great in training. She is really filling out and is puppy dog tame. Her ground manners are perfect and she is great under saddle. She really has transformed. She took 3rd place in her first halter class and that was with no practice at all!! She is a doll and ready for her special someone! New pic:

Can I get some more info on her? She doesn't look very tall, but I'm hoping she is taqller than she looks. I have a family looking for a horse out here, and she sounds like a good match. More info please! Is she only western trained? could she be ridden english, how tall, what can she do, ect?

More info please! Is she only western trained? could she be ridden english, how tall, what can she do, ect? Chanel has been ridden both english and western, she is green but very willing and levelheaded. She bends and she gives to pressure very well. She would need an experienced rider right now, but in the future I see her with more work being able to be a pony club horse or ridden by a young person. She is very quiet on the ground, smart and has had tons of desensitizing. She is a very nice horse. She is probably about 14.3hh now and growing, she is also filling out nicely. She is very flashy under saddle and we would prefer her adopted by someone who would like to use her to show, etc. She will be in the ribbons, she just has that kind of presence.

Any new updates on Chanel? She is gorgeous. Chanel is doing great, she is willing and smart and she is one of the easiest most level headed horses to work with. She is a great horse. I am surprised that she has never been snatched up! ;D

UPDATE!!! YOUTH PROSPECT!!! Chanel: is a very sweet 6 year old tri-colored pinto mare, pocket pony. She does the Parelli 7 games with ease, stands for farrier work, great ground manners and is being continuously handled, is very quiet in the trailer and loads no problem. Chanel's groundwork is great and she is very calm and willing. She is working under saddle and doing quite well. This gal is breathtaking, pictures do not do her justice. Chanel is being ridden and handled by our youth volunteers, she is a very easy going horse and that leads us to believe she would be a nice Pony club or 4-H mount. She has a great solid foundation to her training to build on. She is not afraid of anything on the trails! Adoption fee: $1000.00 For more info on adopting Chanel please contact hytymehorses@gmail.com Chanel and Sweet Tart go for a 1st trail ride, 3/27/09
