Here is a picture of Diane - who's been renamed "Lucy". We brought her home from CBER in December 2007. She was overweight, had a turned hoof from not being trimmed in a very long time but seemed very sweet. She has gotten used to home in no time. Her hooves are excellent now with regular farrier visits, her teeth are in great shape after a visit from "doc Washburn" and she has slimmed down some though we still have work on that front. Our first trail ride I was nervous but she did wonderful. The last ride she finally felt comfortable to "take the lead" and just felt so grounded and peaceful. Thats when my husband snapped this picture. I can't figure out how to post the image here so I'm going to try a link... a476.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/103/l_cc0c1b83aae36b14d7a8b250c5dcd0e3.jpgThis link shows her rescue/feedlot pictures www.columbiabasinequinerescue.org/DEF-HorsesProfile.asp?HoID=1011
