Hi there! I am going to have to get my leased gelding down from Western WA sometime this next month, near the end is fine... I only live in N. CA but would love help with gas this far along the path... do you have any way to get her from N. CA? she can lay over with me... I'm near SF. where is she in QT?

Looks like I am going up Labor Day weekend. Perhaps we can make some Rescue Railroad arrangements to have her moved over to the West to meet up with me? Let me figure out the timing and 'where' I am going... I am not at all familiar with WA... never been there.. so I don't know much about the names and where they ARE. As far as down in CA... can you come up to SF to get her from me? I'm in Clayton for you to mapquest...

Hey... I might want in for this if there is room. I have a horse going from Redmond, WA to Grants Pass, OR.
Also, if that worked, I have room in my pasture that Sweet Pea could go to... Then you would just need to find a ride for her over the mountains and both horses would be waiting for pickup at the same spot and would be able to get used to each other for the trailer ride.
pnp4kidz where in western WA is your gelding located?

It kinda looks like a triangle... is it much further to get back to CA from you? so, if we went on over to you, could we just go down the other side of the triangle?

Hmm There is one maybe two horses in WA that were to come to So Cal. I have been trying to find a time I could go but can't go right now, was thinking about Labor day but it's hard to make it up and back in a weekend.
Maybe Beth would have room and then I could bring them the rest of the way?

I'm trying to decide whether to have Rocket hauled for me or to make a trip up that way. If I do decide to go up I have a three horse slant that I take dividers out of..... haven't heard back from Linarez yet.

CalGal... where are you located? Our horses should be off QT about the same time. We are in Clayton, close to Concord CA. So if you decide to go up, let me know Peg

frr2, we have 4 horses that need rides to Cal so far. .. 5 if we add yours. Looks like we need a caravan! I have a three horse and the means to pull it, could probably pull a 4h stock without problem, but I'd be maxed at that. Still haven't heard from Slinarez...will have to email again.

i must tell you, she is so beautiful, and gentle.she doesnt know much, but has a good heart.she had her feet trimmed today, and was pretty good, she just acted like she didnt understand why she had to stand on 3 legs.nothing naughty.my shoer was impressed, said he couldnt understand why she was going to slaughter, and he kept saying what a nice mare she was.she had a busy day also saw the vet.she said i need to keep a fly mask on her all the time during the day,so hopefully she will not get any cancer issues around her eyes.she also couldnt understand why she was on the lot.will post pics as soon as i learn how.thank you to everyone -Cheryl p.s. Hubby picked the new name-Skyler,i will call her Skye, blue like her eyes.
