Pam, Go to Wynona's board and also to Aries board and let everyone there know you are needing help with transport. You should be able to find them under the General heading, Feedlot horses.

Pam, I will pledge $50 towards transport cost.
I highly recommend Dave & Sharon Linarez, Faraway Transport, they recently delivered CBER Pay Day to us in Sonoma County, and many other CBER horses to California over the past couple years.

Last week the Linarez' told me they would be heading south in three weeks. I'm assuming after christmas. They have a 4 horse trailer and I think there are 3 horses for sure that need to come to CA. Maybe if everyone is ready early they would make the trip sooner?

hi folks, just found out that wynona is sick and will be in mandatory quarantine for 30 days. that may be after the next transport trip planned. i guess i need to call faraway and give them an approximate time and then see who has what planned. thanks for all your info. i will go to those boards and try and write the correct info. still learning to navigate around here. there are so many 'threads' >>>?? if that is the correct terminology ?? later, pam

Pam, here is Sharon's email address, she can help you coordinate a shipping date and give you an estimate, be sure to tell her it's a CBER rescue horse:

I second the recommendation of the Linarez'. They brought down Pippin and Gualala (along with Kaleigh!) in October 2006 and both of my girls arrived in wonderful shape, and their price was good. I know they gave some discount for the horses being rescues.

Hi Pam, I also have a horse going into qt and will need a ride down to Portland. Maybe I could hitch a ride and share the costs?? I'm new at this myself, so any information would be greatly appreciated!!
