Polocrosse is an interesting mounted sport that is like a cross between Polo and Lacrosse. It is played with great enthusiasm in United States Pony Club!!
FYI, here is a polocrosse clinic being offered October 6th & 7th for both adults and children in Clayton, CA (East Bay). You don't have to be a pony club member to participate!! It sounds like fun; I will probably be participating with my daughter.
All you need is a willing horse, an approved helmet, and boots to participate! I will be taking Rescue Horse Reggie, a dyed-in-the-wool dressage gentleman....

We3Polocrosse, who taught the Polocrosse clinics at the USPC Festival
in
Kentucky this summer.
The tentative schedule for the clinic is from 8-4 on Saturday and
8-noon on
Sunday.? Stabling in pipe paddocks (some covered, some with shade
cloth) is
available at $15/per night and camping is available on the grounds (no
hookups).?
Arrival is Friday evening (preferred) or early Saturday morning.
The clinic is open to children and adults. Pony-clubbers and
non-Pony-clubbers
are welcome, and? no experience is necessary.? Approved helments and
boots are
required for all riders.
The fees listed below for Riders include meals (Friday dinner, Saturday
breakfast, lunch and dinner, Sunday breakfast and lunch).? Non-riding
parents of
child riders may audit for free.? Auditors may purchase meals for an
extra fee.?
Concord Mt. Diablo Trail Ride Association is located half-way up Mt.
Diablo,
with beautiful views, a clubhouse, showers and a swimming pool.
Fees:
$125 per rider (meals included)
$15 stabling per night
$25 per non-riding auditor
$7 extra meals (non-riders)
