Hey all- I wanted to let you know about an excellent trail clinic coming up in February. It's held at the Oregon Horse Center in Eugene, Oregon. I attended this clinic last fall and had a blast. I plan on going again this time and will probably be bringing Patriot and a second horse (not sure yet). I took CBER Flame (Mai Tai) last fall and he LOVED it. Tai only had 7 rides at that time and did a great job, so your horse does not have to be dead broke to attend. You can even work the course in-hand (not riding), if you wish. It's completely indoors and is NOT the trail course you think its going to be. They have built an OUTDOOR mountain trail course with waterfalls and hills and ditches and logs and water obstacles, all INDOORS! It's phenomenal! Here is the link to the information and entry: www.oregonhorsecenter.com/pdf/feb2008/Trail%20%20Cliinic%20Entry%20Form.pdf

They revise the trail course every so often, but yes, it is very similar to the comp. trail course. Just not as elaborate, as we are training on the course.
