Saturday, June 28thThe San Francisco Horseman's Association will be holding a play day at the ranch where I board (Palo Alto). I have been asked if I will set up a table and provide information on horse rescue. I would like to have information on horse rescues: CBER and ?? as well as anti-slaughter information. What I would LOVE: is for as many people as possible to come to the play day with your rescue horses. We can think of something for both horses and humans to wear that indicates we are involved in rescue. This is a wonderful opportunity to spread the word, educate and show off our rescue horses (and mules!) The SFHA attracts people from all over the Peninsula, so we finally have a chance to get the word out. Please save the date and let me know you will be there! ~Jen We'll be there, will you?!

I would love to come. I'll need to hitch a ride with someone local. No truck and no trailer, makes play days off the ranch a bit difficult to arrange. Not impossible, just takes a little extra work Sounds like a great day and a wonderful opportunity to spread the word! I'll bet Beth and Peg could supply some info about their rescue. They are located in Clayton and have plenty of beauties up for adoption.

Yay, I'm so excited to see the responses already. We have the potential to have good representation.

Bummer on the date! Because of the very stressful year we had in 2007, hubby splurged on a special Christmas present for me.........I'll be in Scandinavia on a cruise with the family. Otherwise I'd be there for sure!

I'll put it on my calendar! I don't know if I can actually bring one of my rescues, but I can be there to help at a table or booth, and to help with other people's horses if needed.

I will be there, and if I can figure out how to pull the trailer Reno will be too. (Although he's not officially a rescue....just adopted from a home who had absolutely no clue about anything.....) Count me in to help out at the info booth. Stacie
