She's certainly pretty. Does she have a thread and how would a person find that to get more info? I cannot take her, but might help others to have her info handy.
Good luck!

She should be under TB although she is reportedly an apendix QT. Due to my son's recent accident & hospitalization and the bills I can no longer afford to send her to training myself. I really believe that once she is trained she will make an excellent horse. She loves brushing and is easy to work with for the farrier. Although she will readily walk into a trailer she is nervous once on the road. I have ponied her with our other horses she will continue to need this type of interaction as she is nervous. She does like baths and will just stand there. So if anyone would like more information please let me know.

She looks like a very well built beautiful mare. If you are desperate to find her a new home, have you tried any of the other rescues to see if they could take her from you? Maybe HyTyme or SAFE? I do not know what their situations are at this time but it is a thought.

Hey Penny -
If you gift her, please make sure you retain first right of refusal. (Should probably do that anyway to weed out the jerks) If you'd like them to apply through CBER so we can check them out, I'd be happy to do that for you. Send me a PM if want to do so....
I wish I could take her - she was one of my "dream" horses from the lot. Hubby will kill me if I take another right now.

Be very careful when writing a bill of sale: Writing in a 'right of first refusal' is OK, if it is specific for that one right but be very careful about retaining a general priority interest in a horse's bill of sale. The bill of sale should state that all liability transfers to the new owner, when they take possession of the horse and that from that moment on they hold you harmless. If you retain a general priority interest in the horse - you establish a path of liability back to you, and you may also be establishing an obligation on your part...( this is less for a private party than an organization but it still could be substantial) - you want that cut off clean so that someone doesn't do something out of your control with the horse, get hurt , and you'd be liable. In this age of extravagant medical bills and legal settlements you have to be careful. This is not an idle fear and it works like this: Someone gets hurt on this horse, and you have a priority interest in it - so they can follow the liability back to your assests, and sue you for damages. Even if the person hurt doesn't want to sue you, in order for their own insurance to pay their bills, they must 'assign'to the insurance company the right to sue to recover the fees paid out, . And they can sue you over the objection of the person who was injured... If it's an organization - like a rescue - they can also hold the organization liable for omissions - for the rescue not making sure that horse was safe before anyone tried to ride it. If you retain a priority interest, it is presumed you know all conditions and control them - you have a mandate to do so... so you could be sued for not making sure the horse was safe. Don't put yourself in this position. Bottom line if you retain a priority interest you can be held liable and if you bring in a third party to your transactions, they too can be held liable for acts and omissions. Be careful these are 'contracts' you're signing, and you can be held to specific performance, even to heirs and assigns.

WOW, Okay so I have no Idea of how to write something like this. If someone could PM me an example of what I need to do that would be great. My goal is to get her a great home and training but I want the right to be able to retrieve her if the contract is not followed such as care and training. Please Help....

CBER is suppose to be sending me Applications so it may take a few days due to the recent truck and scurry for the horses.

I remember Aphrodite from the feedlot, I always thought she was a "babe". I also remember that her rescue story has been a challenging one, so I'm grateful for the commiment and determination you and all her connections have demonstrated, giving this mare many "second chances". Great job!
