Taurus (Available) Age: 13 years Height: 13.3 hands Sex: Gelding Breed: Arabian x - Adoption Fee: $525 Contact Placement Specialist - Wendy: cberwendy@earthlink.netThis guy was gentle and broke but did not neck rein. He was well behaved while being ridden, walked and trotted nicely. He was a littel quick and jarring at the canter so Jeff did not canter much. He is a sweet guy that has get up and go.

What a pretty guy. I'd guess that he's pure Arabian- he has a classic top-line. Don't know if a 'jarring canter' can be adjusted...or worked on. But teaching him to neckrein is an easy job.

Looks like he may have a case of scratches going on with his back legs. That could cause him to canter a little rough. Yes, he does look purebred. He looks ALOT like the first horse I got from CBER. (Sheba)
After looking at his other pictures, I can not see the pink that I see in the white hair in this picture. So maybe he does not have scratches. He sure is a cutie though. ;D

Have to agree with Laurie......he sure looks like a purebred. With his perfect markings and just the right age, he would make a wonderful and flashy little show horse for a youth rider. Conditioned and groomed up, he would be hard to beat!

Well, I am keeping my fingers crossed that we can have some more time for this horse. He is so nice looking. I wish someone would take him. It is such a hard time of the year to place horses. If I had just a tad more room......

Hooray! What awesone news for Taurus! I've been so busy here at home (work deadlines, husband working extra hours, so dog rescue and all things horsey are squarely on my shoulders, not to mention prep for Cloud's arrival, plus last week's huge dump of dirt to relevel and recushion our corrals, then leveling, and now endless rock mucking -- are you tired yet? Lol. I'm exhausted, to say the least.) I haven't been able to follow many of the new horses at risk, but I'm always praying like crazy for all of them. This is such good news; so is seeing that Mark is safe, too. Just makes my day! As always, I'm just so glad there's rescue for these horses that no one else wants to touch. Em

Congrats, Pipper24! I love Arabs, too, but then I also love TBs, Drafts, Warmbloods, Mustangs, QHs, Mules, Donkeys, Alpacas, Camels, Zebras and the list (always ends up) going on and on, lol. I was pretty disappointed last year when I came across an "Adopt a Zebra" site and found out it's a virtual adoption! Rats! So, looks like the closest I'll get is my Donkey. But I love my donkey. Em

I was very worried about him. I had no choice lol!!! I have a donkey too. Cooper and he is a mini. He was what brought me to the sales barn in Enumclaw. On that day I learned about slaughter and every disgusting thing that goes with. So I am honored to have help him and all the others that I have helped. Whether it be the auction horses or the CBER horses. I couldn't imagine not having them. Thank you everyone for what you do for these horses also!! I started a thread that says Carrie, King and the others are home if anyone wants to see pics of everyone. Everyone is doing well. Carrie is much better and King is just a riot. They're all great horses. I will keep updating photos of them all as time goes on. Again Thank You everyone for helping these horses!!!!

I think I remember reading somewhere that Taurus' adoption did not go through. If this is the case, can this thread be moved somewhere else where anyone can check him out for adoption. Where is he located now, at Sams?

Knock, knock, its me again.
I see Taurus is listed on the main CBER website as a sponsored horse. I think his thread needs to be moved from the adopted section so there is more exposure for him.
There are new pictures of Jeff riding him too. He is so cute.
