Congratulations! I love a happy ending! (though I guess in this case, it's more like a happy beginning!)

Nimir and her new owner Brandon at the Quinn Meadows camping trip. This was Brandon's first trail ride and only his 5th time on a horse ever. Getting ready for the ride. Starting the trail ride. Coming home from the trail ride. Thank you Tom and Lisa for the ponying!

I see she looks like she still has a sore place where the sarcoids were. How did that surgery end up? Did the cut them out or freeze?
I am so happy you found a suitable home for her. Thanks for taking care of her.

Both... some were cut out and some were frozen... and some get treatment with Exxterra. But the wound you see was a bite from another horse. It was a nasty bite with a lot of flesh torn out... it is mostly healed and is basically a nasty red scab at this point.

Oh OUCH. That was on heck of a bite then. I hope the other horse got a "lil" something in return.
I am glad to hear the sarcoids are doing so well.

Yep. The big sarcoid was on her other side... you can't even see it in the pictures now

Well Roxy aka Namir is home and doing great. She seems to get along with Reba just fine although Reba does seem to intimidate her somewhat.......herding her around and making her go wherever Reba wants her to go. Reba likes her to stay close that's for sure. Roxy aka Namir is learning our routine very easily and is very eager to please. Will post photos soon.
