Nimir is an 11-15 year old bay Arabian mare. She is 14.3 hands and was purchased on 4/1/07 from the Enumclaw Auction. She was the last horse brought into the ring and as a skinny and very frightened horse, there was only one buyer who bothered to bid on her... a meat buyer. Although he bid on her, he did not want her. When his bid was raised by $10 he let her go. At purchase she was 780 lbs, had not had her feet or teeth done in years, and had several sarcoids. She was vetted the next day and has since had her feet done. She is on the way to recovery! Nimir is the sweetest horse I have ever been around. She trots up to you in pasture and puts her head down against your chest until you give in and scratch her. She loads very well and handles good... it is my thought that she is saddle broke, but that will be evaluated later. Nimir is going to be available for adoption later this year. If you are interested in her, please email me.

She has a really cute face! How will you ever be able to part with her?

Did you purchase her at the auction? You better watch out, she is likely to creep into your heart and it will be hard to part with her.

Well... she has nasty sarcoid issues, and her hair seems to be falling out... But she is definately gaining weight! People are starting to joke that she looks PG.

She's looking much better just in a short time. She will be in your heart and in your pocket for goodies. Good luck with the vet call ... I hope everything works out tomorrow Jeannie

Well, she got her teeth done and stuff today, but the Sarcoids are going to have to wait. My vet decided that we need to have her blood tested before the surgery. It would be bad to cut that big sarcoid out and have her blood clotting less then normal!

Be sure to keep us posted. I know some vets do not like to mess with sarcoids as they think it might make them worse. I am interested in this subject as I have a mare, also an Arabian, that appears to have a small one under her jaw.

Yep! She is an awesome horse, but I have no children and she is too small for me to ride. She would be a great kids or youth horse, but she is big enough for most women to ride... She is safe, sane and sound. Her sarcoids have just been removed, so she is still being treated for the areas where they were taken off. However, that is minor treatment, and she could easily go to a new home... or if someone wanted to adopt her but didn't want to worry about that, they could adopt her now and take her home in July when everything should be healed over. She is in Redmond, WA if anyone would like to come meet her!

Why do you have to be soooo far away??? I would like to know more about her 'training' if possible! Have any experienced kids/small ladies who could hop up on her?? I am looking for a younger pony club mount for Kaycee, but the horse has to be pretty well trained (I am too big to get on to help train it) and bomb proof! We like the Arabs!!!

Wait a minute...dang it! Pony club horses have to be 14 hands or shorter....

Yep, she exactly reminds me of a Pony Club pony... but she is 14.2 - 14.3...
She has been ridden all around the pasture bareback with no halter or anything but leg pressure. She is pretty darn bomb proof, but she doesn't like cameras...

How much are you going to asking for her? I might be interested I have 14 grandchildren. Yes 14 I think one of them could keep her busy. LOL

I was planning on asking $500 for her... but would take less from a CBER approved adopter. I also would want a contract... it would kill me if something happened and she ever ended up in a bad situation again.
