Hattie - 5-7 y/o - 15hh - Paint Mare
Post by cybercat on Oct 27, 2006, 9:43pm
Hattie - 5 - 7 year old, 15h, paint mare. A little excited and a challenge at times to handle on the ground. Not good about picking up her feet. She allowed our rider on her back but did not know much, she was happy to walk while being led but humped her back when the rider tried to ride her without being led. Sound at time of assessment.
$700.00
new comments 11/6:
Heidi says on the Main CBER BB today that this girl has nothing going on for her....
"NO ACTION ON HATTIE- this is a really nice mare, she is easy to get along, she feels safe with us, can just loop the rope over her neck to give meds ( we are trying to keep her from getting sick) she can be ridden and is a good age with nice color! Where are all the paint lovers? Please lets get her safe. "

OK how do we want to do this? Go after Snickers, he does have the lowest price on his head.
Or try to go after all of the last 5 horses? If we want to do that rember, 1 we may fail all of them, 2 it will take alot of emails and PMs.
Will we all stay online for the rest of the night to make this happen.

Well, I think you'll loose me before anyone
I'd say go for Snicker Doodle, and see where the land lies... probably get more interest in everyone else if he's covered, and peeps see that things can move.
As an aside.. I never send in a pledge until things are "set"

OK... I made some phone calls, and emailed Heidi..... IF she is bailed <sorry, I just cannot do this now>, I can pay her board at Tina's, and ship her East after winter <lord help me, Joe's gonna KILL me >..I talked to JIm aka Hytyme... he might be making a run next summer... and she can ship home. Or I can ship her home next spring.
That's my best offer on the table.
I haven't heard back from Heidi yet.
Ramen for everyone !!! <except the ponies, they get fed >
Edited to add, I can put $200 on her bail

Goooooooooooo lou, I believe those funds ARE still needed, you can send them in via CBER Store or PayPal (+ fees), in HATTIE's name. Pls send an email to the PS confirming your donation.
Then we can send Hattie on her way, take her off the radar screen, and focus on the HIGH RISK horses remaining.

I used to have four horses. Then, I suddenly had seven horses. THEN, I stumbled onto CBER. and now have ELEVEN HORSES!!!!
Now you know why I have to make such bitty donations.
