We seem to be kinda stuck. Not much going on with helping the horses.I am fairly new so do not know much about what happened with ABR but it seems like we did better for the horses with them because there were alot more people involved.Hope I am not stepping on anyones toes. Just trying to understand. We seem to be running out of homes and money.

Jeremy has ads on EquineHits, dreamhorse, horseville and I am doing horsetopia now......he is just a baby and we cannot let him be shipped!!! His bail is not even that much....if we can just raise some more money for him he will be spared. We can do that for him can't we?
I will do more ads, but we cannot fail him!!

Even small donations help! Don't think that "just" sending in $5 won't help. It will if enough people do it. Skip Starbucks or some little perk in your day. That cup of coffee will soon be forgotten, but sacrificing that cup might give a horse life for years and years to come.

Barb will be a backup, so that something in his favor considering some of the horses don't even have that. Sam's blog yesterday said that the horses most likely to ship are the TB's held off of the last truck and the bigger #1's. He doesn't fit into either of those categories. More donations should help him! Over 1300 members on this board, $5 from each, $6500. I know that won't happen, but this is so doable if everyone chips in. 2 yr old, 14h, Appy stud colt. THis little feller was sweet and gentle. He did not act stud like and one might think he is getting sick because of his docile behavior. Cleaned up he would be cute as can be, and he was super sweet, a great prospect! Please contact Hillarie Singer for more information. EMAIL: hillariesinger@aol.com I will do another SHORT TERM LOAN for this baby. Both bail & QT. Kelly

$10.30 donation sent via CBER PayPal button. Receipt ID: 9XN98545MU834490X.
Feedlot shipping history has shown that he is highly likely to be sent to slaughter.

I think we need to get hold of Hillarie for the answer. I did not see any late donations since I had to go offline, but I'm sure he has an adopter...at least we have the time to find out the answer today.

Any word on Jeremy yet? Is he safe and off the lot now? Did an adopter come through at the last minute or was it someone from the board?

Good question, chrisw...as far as the money goes, Marlene will be back from her vacation tomorrow, and we can double check with her then about the remaining funds needed for Jeremy. Did anyone have contact with his PS, Hillarie to find out about the adopter? I'll send her an email.
