She looks very sexy but her personality is sooo not sexy, she reminds me of the timid girl that sits back and watches in the classroom. She is quiet and cautious and she is a thinker. It is like she should have glasses on.

Hey, I found CBER when I was looking for a mini online to adopt...I was REALLY looking for a draft horse, which has always been my dream. I couldn't talk my hubby into a draft, but a mini he could handle...I'm still working on him for a draft...
And I remember Temptress from the lot...I didn't realize that she and Norma Jean are the same. She really needs to come home to me and my mini mare. Raven will teach Norma Jean a whole new attitude...most likely when Raven kicks her in the shin (Can't kick a draft any higher...hehehe!)

I bet NJ would love you! You have my permission to love on Finn too when he is up at PEC's. (I think you are up that way aren't you?)

Hah! My hubby would have a heart attack! And Norma Jean would be stepping right over our fence and into the blueberry farm two doors down! (Obviously our fence needs to be replaced but I haven't been able to get that one done yet!)

UPDATE: Miss Norma Jean went to the vet Thursday, the vet gives her a clean bill of health, says she is sturdy and ready for training. She has a couple sarcoids in her ear but the vet says that they are causing no harm. We found out some other things about NJ, she knows how to lounge and did it quite well and even for the vet. When segregated from the herd she is a love bug and wants attention from us. She is weary of people who she doesn't "know" but warms up quickly. She showed us just what a beautiful mover she is and BOY I bet she would make a nice dressage horse, she has the build.

Great News for Norma Jean! I still can't believe she hasn't found a home yet! I hope to make it to Hytyme's and see her and the other drafts sometime...without a trailer or I would be in trouble when I got back home!

I have been going back and forth on this issue, but if no one else takes that girl home, I'm going to do it. I haven't gotten to see her in person but in the new picture of her, my God she is beautiful and I would love to have her and I have an 18 yr old son who thinks she is the most awsome thing he has ever seen. So as soon as fences are in and the shelter is built tall enough for her, if she is still available then, I'm making the phone call! Charity, Elk, Wa

I am going to get new pics of her today, she looks even more beautiful now. She definantly has some of the flight issues that many PMU's have when pushed to far out of her comfort zone to fast, but with the right kind, gentle person and confidence building training, I cannot say enough good things about NJ. She has learned that we mean her no harm and we ask that new people "get to know her" fortunantly she is VERY motivated by food, so that helps with the getting to know you part. She is always good with the other horses and she hasn't been hard on the fences. She has really been blossoming and is very ready to be trained, she almost seeks it out, I think that is the perfect time to do it, she is saying "I am ready!!"

Now I know where my Perch/QH filly gets her HUGE Head!!! Definitely came from the 3/4 Perch side!!!! I sure hope my girl grows into her head! I don't really want her to get as big as Norma Jean, but I would like her to be somewhat in proportion!

Norma Jean is a very nicely proportioned mare at 17.2; but yes, her head is pretty big compared to a regular horse!
