And Crum, I was thinking the same thing about her mane possibly being pulled and grown out a little bit, but I also think that she is rubbing because there is one little strand that looks like is was rubbed and is about to fall off! It will be very exciting to see what she looks

Oh, I hope she doesn't feel sick...maybe its that let-down feeling that you get when you can relax and don't have to constantly be on guard.

I don't think they are going to be able to put powder on her since you can't touch her and ivermectin might be dangerous if she has a heavy infestation of worms. She definitely needs to be dewormed with panacur to start...she doesn't look too perky. Is Jeff going to train her?? She's so beautiful though, I bet you can't wait to get her home! I think she's a "diva" horse!

Nope leave it on and after a two time application you can wash it. Lice is really not a big deal, however it is yukky. Very contagious so others will have to be treated. If it was me i would send Sam the stuff now and treat her again when she comes home, in the trailer.

Rescuestoribbons, aka, Tarra....are you and Chia home yet??? Nope? Probably still on the road. Can't wait to hear how your meeting went, how she loaded and traveled and what you think of her, or better yet, what she thinks of you!! A. Kelly

Hey! Just updating on my girl She continues to amaze me each and every day. I just started 'getting her used to the clippers' yea, well no need, she doesnt mind them at all!! I shaved under the neck, her chest, and am starting on the legs and belly. She is so good about it all! Sad part is, some of the mud is stuck on her so good that a couple pieces are ripping some of her skin off On other parts after you shave the hair off, there is still mud on what she has left of her hair. I also took her out into my yard and let her eat some grass and boy was she HAPPY!! She was very good to I will post pictures once her new hair do is completed!
