Hobbit is a very sweet little boy that wants a chance to please. He is halter broke and as cute as can be. He wanted to try real hard to please but was very afraid at the feedlot.. Our rider tried to get on him but he is not broke to ride and was to afraid to try to get on him. Was sound at time of assessment.. We apologize the pictures did not turn out well in the shade. I can foster, too... If he needs it. Contacted Deb. With 30 days on him he would be easy to re-home. If he goes to your place "quatzie" I will help you look for his "forever." Did you contact Deb?

Yes Diane is AMAZING!! Hobbit is now making his permanent home with us. He is a very special boy.....Very smart, and quickly picking up on his training. We, along with our volunteers, are pretty enchanted with him! He will eventually become a driving pony with an Amish-made cart and harness specially acquired for him.

I also want to add that saving them is only a very tiny beginning. Hobbit will now have a wonderful home and will receive the training he needs to have a future. I say thank you to HyTyme! I wish I could live there..............

And thank you Diane! Yes, Hobbit IS a gelding. He is becoming such a handsome little guy, and very brave too. We walk him around the ranch to see everything, and at first he was quite shy around the bigger horses, but no more. (We think he has secretly jointed Clinton Anderson's No Worries Club!) Hope to get some great pics soon.....
