Straight Flush-11 y/o - 15.1hh-Chestnut QH Gelding
Post by cybercat on Oct 7, 2006, 2:04pm
Straight Flush- 11 year old, 15.1h QH gelding. This gelding was a little difficult to catch but once caught he seemed easy to handle. (He had been running with some other horses that had not been handled much.)
This horse might have some trust issues as he was a little nervous of what we were doing as we handled him. He was nice and gentle and he did do what we asked. We got on and rode him and he was really attentive and well-behaved. His gaits are smooth and he transitioned into the trot from the walk very easily.
While he is really sweet, he is insecure, and needs a confident rider. He would not be suitable for a beginner.
Please contact Megan VanHollebeke for more information.

it seems so wasteful that one who is trained and nice like this is at high risk.
I would be willing to bet that his trust issues will go away when he's off the lot.... it's a scary place for a horse to be, and they don't always show their true personalities when they're there!
