Wynonna - Age ?-14.2h- Bay Arabian Mare
Post by cybercat on Aug 26, 2006, 9:44pm
Wynonna - This mare is halter broke, although she was not easy to catch. Once we caught her she let us halter her. She does pick up her feet; which are in desperate need a trim. She was responsive in the halter. She possibly was a broodmare; she's a bit bagged, but she could have just had a foal pulled from her.

She is a beautiful horse with great potential. Someone mentioned on the other lot that she was bagged up. It's not right for her to have her baby taken away and then have to land on the feedlot as well...

She is a Charlie Works breeding horse. This is a great bloodline.. have NO idea why she would be here. We knew him and my family has had many of his horses in the years past.

Also would like to add that he never had Arabian crossed horses. They were all great QH blood... but maybe sometime in the later years he could have crossed over. This brand is Charlie Works though.. so, dont know, but I could bet that she is QH and is registered somewhere down the lines.

This just isn't right. Can the FLO ship a mare who is ready to foal? Will he hold back one who is possibly papered, like he said he would do with the others who are papered?
I feel sick. Wynonna should be treated like Freesia with Twinkie and be scooped off the lot immediately. What can we do?

With the truck leaving this weekend, I'm really worried for this girl. She has been on the lot a long time.
In my opinion, we should be caring for these old horses the most. They dedicated their lives to making someone else's life better whether that's because they were ridden or bred, someone profited from this mare monetarily or emotionally. She deserves someone to now help her out and care for her. She has a home and lots of money already donated to her. She's in the home stretch now let's get her home!
I know there are lots of other nicer looking and younger horses on the lot (I personally have a hard time not looking at those appy's!) ... but this one needs help too!
She's SO close!

I can do $50 for Wynonna.............That only leaves $150.....
We have a chance to save Wynonna and Rooky.........Let's do it. Let's make a difference in these two horses lives, even though we can't save them all, we are too close to lose these two.
$5, $10, $20, it all adds up. We wanted to make the Cberangels idea work, well here's our chance.
