Hey Michelle!
Heidi is at CreeksideAQHA@aol.com
I just checked the Tim Wooley board, and as of a few minutes ago, they only had about $55 to go.

I don't want to step on anyone's toes, but my farrier is incredible so I thought I would offer....it sounds like this guy has the same problem as Poppy (who is starting boot therapy shortly). I truly need another horse like a hole in the head!!!! Modified to add: But what does that have to do with hit? ? I would need him Qt'd as well......and then to figure out how to get him down here....ack!

This is wonderful that Tucson will not ship. Jessiegirl is an AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING person and I think that in honor of her, who truly saved this horse's life today (Jessie fundraised like heck over on the Tim Wooley board ---- you guys go and check out the ENTIRE thread! Jessie is one talented lady!), Tucson should be renamed "JESSIE."
I am perfectly happy that Tucson....er....Jessie.....should stay in WA with Deb or go to Orygone with Michelle! I can play auntie from CA.
I will pay for his Coggins and Health certificate, OK?

Katie - Pioneer is AWESOME. They're the ones that helped with Reno's diagnosis and treatment. If you get him, I'll meet you there. Maybe by then I can talk hubby into him AND Reno!!! lol
Okay - crashed while watching the news after our guests finally left this evening, or rather, last night. Was gone since 1:30 yesterday for Little League, then had a going away party at my house. Woke now to check email, and heading back to bed. As of 4:45 a.m. Sunday morning, these are the incoming funds received. There may be some outstanding that for whatever reason I did not receive notice of.....if so, please PM me w/ the transaction # and which horse it was for. thank you! Stacie (aaaaaaaaaaand, back to bed...exhausted)
RECEIVED TO DATE
$410 - Champagne
$385 - Tuscon
$511 - Silver
Again - there may be other payments and/or donations that for whatever reason weren't copied to me, paid by check, etc.

Okay I see that Tuscon is safe, but where's he at? I would LOVE to follow up with him if he's remotely close to me in Graham. I am offering FREE hoof care, boots and pads with MY services for a handful of navicular horses as case studies. Minimum time required is 6 months in my program. It's time to document our success so we can help more horses.

Awesome Pam!!! Let's take advantage of the great offer! just a 'trial' if you will... and he might just show us that he is going to be sound the rest of his life with the 'right' foot care! We have awesome results here with natural trim and boots! firm believer! (not that we are 'against' shoes, if they are needed.. Sundance is one example... )
Congrats on saving him!!! :-)

Somebody just got themselves a top notch horse (in my opinion).
If at all possible, could you please post progress reports. I've never had a navicular/lame horse before and I would like to watch the progress and learn all about it. There is so much information shared on this website. I've really learned a lot.

Unfortunately I am in Graham-western Wa. and Tuscon is in Yakima so I won't be able to use him in my study. DARNIT! However I am putting Deb in contact with TWO of my colleagues I regard highly and who DO TRAVEL to Yakima on a regular basis. I don't at this time. My kids are still young and between 4-H and baseball I have to be reasonable. So please have faith we'll get Tuscon and King in natural hoofcare hands and give them their best shot at recovering meaningful soundness. I will continue to monitor his progress and answer any and all questions Deb has! Pam
