  7 year old, 14.2h, chestnut registered QH mare. This mare is gentle, very healthy looking and seems level headed considering where she is. She is good on the ground but does not appear to know very much. We were told that she has been used a broodmare. We tried to lift her feet and she did not know what we were asking of her. She is great mom and her foal is just as handsome as she is pretty. The foal is a colt and has been handled. He is friendly has a large hip. Both appeared sound at time of assessment. Can somebody offer them a home if we can come up with bail?
That baby just breaks my heart, so do all the other ones for that matter, but he is just a little baby, doesn't need to start his live off like this.
