BAIL: $5252 - 4 years old, 15.2h, chestnut Quarter horse type gelding. This flashy gelding is curious and allowed us to put a halter on him. He does not appear to know much, but is willing to try what is being asked of him. He led but was not too sure about backing. He picked up his front feet but more out of trying to do what was being asked not because he knew what was being asked. When I was photographing the other horses he was playing with the collar of my coat, it was like he was giving me soft kisses! He is flashy, conformationally correct and was sound at time of assessment. Questions? Want to take this handsome boy home? Please contact Deb @ Avalonmistfarm@msn.com & submit your adoption application at www.columbiabasinequinerescue.org/DEF-AppPre.aspAdditional pictures at: www.columbiabasinequinerescue.org/DEF-HorsesProfile.asp?HoID=691

He came in with Huckleberry. Surely someone needs a couple of cute, sweet boys who like each other......

Does anyone else see a hump on his back, just in front of his flanks/hips? In the side view pics it looks like there is one.................I'm asking so Sam or someone can tell us that there is or isn't - someone might look at the picture, see what I saw, and not pursue him any further. If it is nothing, then let's post that it's nothing...........
Thanks!

Wendy, I see that too now. Arrow had one on his back, Vet thought it was from an ill fitting saddle, and with the body work he's been getting, it has pretty much disappeared. Not sure if this is the same thing.

If he looks anything like my guys shedding out, one rub across his back and there is a ton of hair piled up.

Jazzer, we need more California Redheads, there have been quite a few of those. Just look over to my pasture, you'll see one of them. I'll come visit him

Hey guys, it is me......rascal e rabbit....Deb told me to jump on here. I will take both Huckleberry and Soft Kiss if I can get funding help. They need bails, quarrantine ( at Sam) and transport home. Here we go again! Trailer heading east in 6 weeks! Can anyone help? In case my signature is not right.....I am Christine. Amaryllis Farm Equine Rescue, inc. My site is not updated, but my proboards are: www.erabbit.proboards61.com Need help quick of course. I have full transport covered which is $2200 for both. I just need help bailing and then if possible with quarrantine at $18 a day for 45 days. Prohibitive costs, but these lives are worth it I believe......... I have brought in 15 from CBER and every one was an amazing horse.
