WILL BE SHIPPED 18th of JULY SAFE! Thomas - 2 yr old blood bay papered QH colt, recently gelded. Picks up his feet willingly, and is very responsive in the halter. There wasn't anything mean about this little guy, and could go any direction! A 13 year old girl has been working with him and he ties well, and has had a blanket on his back with no problems, but not a saddle. He has such a soft eye, we don't feel training him would take much, though it's hard to say with these youngsters! Please contact Shawna Byington for more information.Email:tufnspendy@aol.com$550 Status: Available Price: 550 Arrived: 7/4/2007 Age: 2 Height: Weight: Gender: Gelding Primary Color: Blood Bay Secondary Color: Type: Riding Breed: American Quarter Horse x - Registration: Registered Condition: Temperament: Training:

This one is really upsetting me, as are the unnamed filly and colt listed in other threads...
How do you tell a 13 year old girl that the baby she's been working with is going to be killed and eaten?!
There HAS to be a home for Thomas and the others...

Well, I do not know exactly where Thomas and the others are but I am sure they are in Washington state...the 13 year old girl is mentioned in Thomas's story...he is being handled by her. I couldn't imagine telling MY 13 year old that one of our animals was heading to slaughter....
Several of these listed horses apparently have a deadline set by their owner...those are planned to be shipped on July 18th. The other horses seem to have a little more time...they are being sold by a different person...(a rancher) and would probably end up at auction or feedlot after all other adoption possibilities have been exhausted.
The best way to get information is to CALL OR EMAIL THE CONTACT PERSON LISTED ON EACH HORSE...That person will have the latest info on the horse. We need to get to work on finding homes for the ones with the shortest amount of time left.

I just got a answer on my E-mail from contact person listed , they stated that a kill buyer has the horses on a feed lot in Washington but didn't state which one even though I ask and will ship 7/18th.Thomas Reg Number is AQHA 4902907. the E-mail listed the link and he has a very good blood line.

The person that you emailed is me. Thomas does have good bloodlines, the 13 year old girl is the kill buyers daughter she is who has been working with him, hoping to help him find a home before he is shipped. YES, we have more than one kill buyer, this one is closer to tri cities & wishes to not ever be named, he ships DIRECTLY to Canada if I remember correctly..there is no hold over at FP.

I know he's papered QH and all, but to me, he looks like he has a bit of Trakhener in him.
