Mint (Available) Age: 20+ Height: 14'3 hands Sex: Mare Breed: Cross x American Quarter Horse Adoption Fee: $560.00 Mint is a black/bay mare that was used at a Youth Camp for the last couple of summers. She rides nicely, neck reins, backs, & has good ground manners. She is pretty thin & really needs some groceries. She would make a excellent beginner or companion horse.

Mint got bit by a dog at the feedlot. Let's get her out of there! We only have today. There's a fundraiser going on for Mint, All About, and Brownie on the ABR board. Hardly any donations have come in. Please send a donation if you can (either through this board or the other, it doesn't matter!). Even $5 will help.

Actually Mint's home offer backed out....SHE HAS NO ONE.....SHE Is here at my house, because after watching that d**n dog bite her, my daughter crying & poor Mint falling down trying to get away...I loaded her in my trailer...she needs a home & money....The FLO, was shocked, but I am sure it was pretty obvious it wasn't a great time to argue with me. I've never wanted to hurt a dog so much in my life....poor mint was just eating out of the feed bunk when the dog snuck up on her & bit her in the front leg, she jumped back, tripped over another feeder & fell down...She is walking fine & I've doctored her leg, there won't even be a mark..just bled alot because it hit a vein. Someone Please help this mare...

Bet it was one of those blue heelers. One did the same thing to my gentlest of gentle horses. Bit him right on the nose while he was eating. No reason to have done that.
