Em, I'm with you on the lotter numbers, maybe if a few of us all the way around the country could win the lottery, we'd be doing good.
Very happy for this little girl. Glad she is getting a chance at life!

I'm dreaming hard all right! : )
I'm so happy for Shy, too.
We constantly see stories on the news of celebrities spending ridiculous amounts of money on ridiculous things, or doing nothing with their mountain of wealth, and I end up thinking about how many horses I'd save, if I had that kind of money ... so much good could be done, with money like that in the right, compassionate hands.

I'm very happy for her. I was tempted to adopt her, but in all honesty I don't think I'm ready even now for another baby... I think an old horse to live out the rest of his/her days with me would be a better bet.. babies just make me really sad. She's a pretty little girl, I'm relieved that she's been given a good home.

Hello everyone, my name is Bethany. I am new to this board and I am the one who has adopted "Sky" (CBER-SHY). She is doing great and is a wonderful horse! I had the vet out on Wednesday and she has Epiphysitis in all four ankles, hopefully she'll grow out of it. She's on a strick diet of timothy hay and rolled oats combined with vitamins and joint supplements (that she doesn't eat, what horse doesn't want grain?).

Awwwwww, that's an *awesome* photo! Love it! ;D You both look too sweet. Two peas in a pod. There needs to be a new dictionary entry: Horse Smile: the smile of a person in love with their horse. Origin: The heart. Em
