I wish every single person who looks at this thread would donate $5-10 to this horse.

I just love those Ranch Horses. They are so dependable and make the Best trail horses. Super consistant and easy going. I just love them.

Is Sneezie at risk for shipping this week? I can be backup on him and pay $100 if rest of funds are raised. Also offering this on Rose-can only take one, so whoever is at the greatest risk.

Honestly, I would offer for Rose, she has been on the lot for 2 weeks and is in the most jeapordy..I am sure he will have another week..

Leo, are you sure you can convince the KB to keep Sneezie a couple more days?
Lorraine, you are SO SWEET! Willing to open your home and heart to ANY of the horses left without a home. I really appreciate this.

$10.30 donation sent via CBER PayPal button. Receipt ID: 9FG13968KN9035313.
You look like a been-there-done-that kind of guy. You just put your head down and walk out. Someone is going to be very lucky to get you.

Leanne, Thank you for your kind words. These are obviously all very kind and generous people on this board-I don't know how you stay, it is SOOO stressful watching who may end up getting shipped. I am trying to figure out who I can put a little money on to help, how do you choose??? Lorraine

Its very difficult, Lorraine...and some of us have to take a little time away every now and then to re-charge. I find it helpful to stay busy if I can...we all support each other here as best we can...and if its too hard to do the feedlot rescues, well, we have the other rescue organizations who need us too. As far as donating, yeesh, it is VERY tough to choose. I usually look at the horse who has a permanent home offer first. Then saving the youngest or PG horses is personally important to me. The oldies tear me up too, or the wild ones who never have a real relationship with a human...the injured ones who deserve a decent retirement home or at least a death in a dignified and respectful manner. I have never been the same after we lost Charlie and Shiver. Charlie was a baby...just 2/3 yo...and Shiver, who was unhandled but very curious and wanting to know Sam. I still cry when I think of them. We all have at least one feedlot horse that spoke to us......and after 3 years, I can truly say that hundreds have spoken to me in some form or another...and I have a virtual cyber herd of horses, whom I have helped save. They all belong to me... I can't bear to stay, but can't stand to stay away...I have to witness them, their existence and their sacrifice.

Thanks for the advice. It was easier when I could just look at the CBER web site-really did not know when or who would ship...better to know though, maybe even help a little here or there. When I spend time with my Katie girl-can't believe such a beautiful horse almost went to slaughter! Sent a bit on Rose; guess we can hope someone sees her at the last minute and falls in love. I had a great birthday-my husband and kids made me a cake and brought home takeout Chinese. My husband got me a laptop so I can browse horse stuff from anywhere. My kids got me an Andrea Bocelli CD (I love hime)-and no horses shipped; doesn't get any better than this. Thanks for asking, Lorraine
