George was very gentle and just wants to be around people. He met us at the gate and just had to have his turn! He was quiet to be tacked up, he was great to ride, very gentle, neck reins, backs, gives to pressure. A wonderful confidence builder. Amazing sound for his age but at times he did look a bit stiff but what you expect no one is perfect!

I got to visit with George on his first day in Maryland, President's Day. He's so sweet. He came and leaned his head against me. Yesterday, I went out for my second visit. I didn't get to spend as much time with him because Isabella and Frankie were with me and George and the other older guys won't come around if they're there. George took a nice nap in the sun yesterday and then had a good roll. I don't know why I didn't take pictures of that! Barb and I brushed him the first day, and as soon as we were done, he was rolling in the dirt. Pictures were taken on President's Day.

George has been adopted by Barb's friend and has his own little boy now! He really perked up when he saw the kids and did a nice job with them riding. He's getting to compete in 4H competitions now.
