for some reason.... i always think the older yellow gals are just the sweetest!! they really tug on my heartstrings. i have one of the more mature blondes, and she is the most wonderful being i have ever known. she is great at everything and takes such good care of her person..

Can anyone tell me what it means to be a backup home offer?

Can anyone tell me what it means to be a backup home offer? It means that if the horse doesn't get an adopter by the time the 30 days quarantine is up, the back-up home will adopt the horse. It's a nice idea, but doesn't always work out....sounds like this option might be changing in the very near future. WendyP/Bend, OR

There are 3 horses with no home offers-I unfortunately cannot justify to my husband spending another $1000.00 to save one, but could provide a safe home, feed, vet care for one-I see Sharon, Lori and Goldie Hawn are currently without home offers. I would consider taking one if majority of funds raised.

Lorriane- thank you so much for the offer...please refresh my memory...are you an approved adopter? (I think you are, but my memory fails!) If not, you will need to complete the CBER adoption application ASAP. And please let the PS know for each horse, OK?
