Another throw away. People should be ashamed of their selfs. I know! I don't understand how people can do it. Whenever I adopted my cats, I told them that they're stuck with me for life.

Are we just going to let these older horses slip through our fingers?
There is money in the Angel Fund to lend to help these horses, this is EXACTLY the scenario the Angel Fund was set up for ... helping the high-risk horses at the 11th hour.
PM JenM or NanciK if you want to discuss the Angel Fund.

He's so beautiful. All the other grays got adopted right away. Why not him? He deserves a nice home too.

I have ads posted for Tull on Horseville, Equinehits, and dreamhorse...I got a response from dreamhorse today and sent the person some photos. ( on dreamhorse, you have to pay $20 for photos, which I don't have, so I do a text ad and email photos upon request.) Dreamhorse is a very good place for ads. That's where we got the home for Jaz from.

He is the one I would choose if I had a place for a horse!
I have gotten some responses to my ads for him on dreamhorse and sent them photos. I will keep trying other sites as well. All it takes is that one person seeing his photo and connecting with this beautiful horse.
But the reality is that ads are only a part of the solution. We all need to network among the people we know at our stables, boarding facilities, horse groups, 4H groups, veternarian offices, putting flyers up at the supermarkets. This has to be a team effort.

It's wonderful checking the computer in the morning and find out that another horse is pending! I'm so happy for Tull. I always feel that the ones wearing shoes weren't meant to go to the feedlot. I guess Tull had "lucky horse shoes"!

This is excellent news!!! Yaaayyyyy for Tull! I'm with you drjinva about the shoes. It makes me sad and happy at the same time. Here is a horse whose owner cared enough to put shoes on within the last 2 months and is now on death row....glad they cared enough to put the shoes on, but what the heck happened? We'll never know, so glad he will be saved.
