Hi, just talked to the past owner of Savannah. He said that he has NO paper work for her. He did say that she came from Berns Oregon and was from the French Glen herd. She was wild and pregnant when he got as a 5 year old. She has had no health problems until now. He also said that he had to many horses and decided to offed her and was mainly dealing with foals. Sounds like a breeder maybe.

I'm so glad that you were able to talk to the previous owner of Savannah...sometimes folks aren't too helpful with past history...
Savannah is gorgeous...I'm happy she's safe.

Jennifer, I forgot to mention that Savannah's feedlot thread is still on the board...it was moved down to The Horses category under the Horses We Have Helped Saved board... so you can still add info to it...and when she arrives home, her thread will be moved again into the Our Horses Mustang board.
I like to think of the threads as kind of Baby Books for the horses we love...

I have been treating fugus at my house in Sebastopol CA since Christmas. I received pictures of Savannah's fungus patches and she looks real bad. But she is still cute!

I have Savannah who is now Dream, at home she is wonderful and MUCH larger in person. big feet, ears, legs...She looks part Draft horse. Dream is calm, gets along with everyone: Dogs, chickens, goat, people. She puts her lip up when you scratch her in a good spot. I am slowly introducing her to my personal horse Rose and that is going fine too. Rose can have issues with other horses . Dream takes changes very well. I can not say enough good things about her. I am amazed at how easy she is to lead. I have never had a horse that leads as well as she does. People have been inspired to adopt feedlot horses becoase of her. After meeting Dream a friend decided to pull two horses from a feedlot. She just received them a few days ago and is beside her self as to how wonderful they are. She is so happy with them. Thank you to everyone that helped saved Dream and brought her into our lives. Thank you!!!!!!

Great news, Jennifer! If you want to figure out how to post pictures of her ('cause we'd all love to see them!) there is a thread under the FAQ section that describes in detail how to use Photobucket to do it.
