Wow, she's gorgeous. Personally, I'd like to torture the A**hole who dumped her on the lot after many years of service.
She is a nice looking mule. Someone needs to scoop her up!

25 hours since my last post here and nothing going on for Wildflower. I could have sworn there were more people on this board who appreciate the uniqueness of a mule...
I'm going to cross my fingers that something is happening behind the scenes for this special lady.

P.S. A female mule is called a Molly. Female donkeys are Jennys. Mule trivia for the day. I changed her thread to give her the proper identification!

I posted her info in the Mules Only Yahoo Group. hmmm...I seem to be over here posting to myself on this thread. I hope this is not the first sign that I'm losing it...

You are not talking to yourself... at least this time, . Just broke and exhausted... funerals and a hurtin' horse. Dandelion had alot of late interst come in from those "mule groups." I'll e-mail those folks and tell them to look at the cber site.

Getting a soft spot for those long ears, Jen?
This gal is a real cutie! I really didn't appreciate mules and donkeys much when I first found CBER, but I have grown to think they are fantastic and awesome animals...I enjoy their uniqueness so much...

Getting a soft spot for those long ears, Jen? Hee, hee...there is something pretty darn special about the long ears. Leanne, you should adopt Wildflower so you can find out for yourself! Sometimes you just have to "Embrace Life's Surprises"! God Bless these special creatures with long ears.

I just read on the Mules Only group that someone has put in an application for Wildflower. I'm crossing my fingers this is true and the person is worthy of this special gal.
Deep down, I chuckle to myself everytime I think of how lucky I am to be owned by a mule. They really are different from horses in a way I can't describe, you just have to experience it.

Hello to everyone! I've not been on here for a long while and this is interesting, but two days ago I on got on the CBER site and saw Wildflower. Well late last night I got an email saying this mule and others were taking a ride on the big truck if we didn't get them homes. Well, I emailed Heidi and some others who know me and told them if we can get her bailed I'd give her a home and if I really liked her I'd pay CBER another $650 for her to do with as they need. I can't buy her outright now because I just picked up an incredible mule off dreamhorse and just paid $2,000.00 for him, he's worth much more, the girl was going through a divorce and had to sell him. I also am getting a different truck so money is getting tight here. Most of you may remember me from when CBER had their own board up, like I said it's been a while, but to those who don't know me let me tell you a bit about me; I have lots of experience with mules, I have rescued several from CBER in the past as well as many horses. I have gotten many people to help rescue from CBER, including, but not limited to, my friend beejoyful!! (Hi Joan!) I am a horseshoer and I drive a school bus for the benefits and summers off. (I am no longer married and have kids so I needed those benfits)! Anyway, I explained that so no one would worry about the place she'll be at or who she's with, the folks here who know me will tell you I will make sure Wildflower has what she needs with a great home, care, love and training. I don't always get on the site, but leave a message and I'll try to get updates on here. If you can't get a hold of me, beejoyful can, so email her and she'll call me. I'm looking forward to getting my new ass!!! lol Have a great day guys and thanks for saving her!!! She deserves a chance too!! Lori (aka-equinelongears)

It's my pleasure!! I have the summer off to work with her. She's too tall to pack (in my opinion), so I hope she wants to ride. I just had shoulder surgery in February for repairing my rotor cuff, so I hope she's as sweet as they say, my left arm is still good though!! It's hard enough with a good arm to lift packs that high, that's why I have a 14H mule and a 14.2H mule. Both of those guys ride and the new my new mule packs! If I can get Beejoyful out here to take pictures I'll try to get them posted, I'm not computer savy!! Thanks to all who saved her from the truck!!

I hate to jump in here, but this mule is being outright adopted by someone who stepped in this morning and contacted Sam and then me. It too will be an awesome home for this girl and they are paying the bail themselves. So we really appreciate equinelongears wanting to help her, but she is going somewhere else. I did email you immediately Lori, when we found this out earlier, I figured you got that email, since you got my other ones. Thanks for being willing.

That would be fine with me, I'm just glad she has a good home, that's what important to me. I didn't get the other email you're talking about, but that's okay. I wish Wildflower and her new owners the best!!!

That's okay it doesn't matter. The last message I got was from Heidi. But really, it's fine, I was just trying to help out. I have my 2 mules and I'm happy with that, it just frees me up to help out another. I'm just happy someone wants her.

Hi Lori, thank you so much for your offer to help with Wildflower! I've really learned to appreciate mules from the many long ear lovers on this board.
