Post by cybercat on Nov 10, 2006, 11:13pm
~~~ Per Heidi 11/13, Chet is at High Risk for the truck ~~~
Chet - 25+ Tattooed 15.3 TB gelding. Chet didn't appear to be 25+ but he was missing a few teeth and it was hard to determine exactly his age. He was easy to catch and handle on the ground. Chet has really nice smooth gaits and is responsive to leg and rein pressure. He plow reins, backs, and stops nicely. Chet would be a nice confidence builder!
It's funny, I was just noticing he seems to have no white on him at all, and it's so unusual, it's kinda special. I sure hope he's your uncle's old race horse and will get reunited!
If he's tatooed, can't the past owners be traced by the numbers and see if the uncle was an owner?
Can the brand inspector be alerted about this, to hold him back til it can be checked?
I've had this problem in the past with emailing various PS. More often than not it turned out that spam filtering or some other email related issue was occurring and they were not seeing any of my emails. I have 4 different email accounts and when sending email to a PS I have to sit down and determine which email account has actually managed to get email to the particular PS before I send anything to them. So please keep in mind if you get no response whatsoever to an email that the PS may have never seen it and that another means of contact may be necessary.
I've had this problem in the past with emailing various PS. More often than not it turned out that spam filtering or some other email related issue was occurring and they were not seeing any of my emails. I have 4 different email accounts and when sending email to a PS I have to sit down and determine which email account has actually managed to get email to the particular PS before I send anything to them. So please keep in mind if you get no response whatsoever to an email that the PS may have never seen it and that another means of contact may be necessary.
i pray it's not your uncles horse, and yet i do. i hope you get some answers before the truck as then you will be left wondering for a long long time. how stressful it must be to think this might be your uncles horse, i can't imagine what i'd do if i saw a pic of a past horse i had owned or known in the lot.
