5 - 7 year old, 17h, tatooed bay TB gelding. This gentle giant has a sad look in his eye, his energy seems beat down and despondent. I am sure that would change once he is his normal weight and in a loving home. His eye looked happier after I rode him. He was easy to handle on the ground, picked up his feet easily and put with me scrambling on his back. He rode nice and trotted easily around the arena. He felt sound but when we trotted him without a rider he looked short behind. His knee has slight swelling (soft fluid) but full range of motion, sport-horse enthusiasts are advised to do a pre- purchase exam (x-rays) to see if he be able to withstand the rigors of jumping. www.columbiabasinequinerescue.org/DEF-HorsesProfile.asp?HoID=712Please contact Deb at: avalonmistfarm@msn.com for more information. ADOPTION FEE $775.00

He's a hunk, would make a handsome Medals/Equitation or Event horse.
Posted a photo ad for Espresso on Bay Area Equestrian Network.

j21 - Yes please post on TWR BB. Since he's got a huge star, just like Barbaro, I think we should challenge the FOB's to save him "in honor of Barbaro".

If I hadn't taken Tiffany, he would be my #1 choice. He looks so kind.

I agree, this guy has huge potential. Please, please, please be very careful about what is posted on the TWB. My concern is that another thread will start with the usual suspects causing trouble, and it could get ugly.
I encourage those of you who post ads on other sites to get on this right away. He's a nice looking horse and should have no problem finding a home.

Excellent advice jen! I would NOT post the word "CBER" in the thread title!
I've got him on BAEN and on Yahoo BB Re-Train TBs.

BTW, I truly believe that Champagne is the horse most at risk here - older TBs, we've lost 4 SIX so far this year - so any help from the FOBs for her would be much appreciated as well.

I am processing an app for Espresso, and the applicant has been in contact with Deb already. First reference is great, waiting to hear from the second and see her pictures.......

I think with some love and time, he will be a great horse. What a beautiful guy. Best wishes to the horse and his new family! Wouldn't surprise me at all if he wasn't just recently raced. If anyone wants to read his lip, I will research him.
