12 - 14 year old, 16.1h, TB mare. Her tatoo starts with A. She does not have any splints, bumps or lumps. She is a beauty but will need an experienced rider as she is not too sure she does not want to stay a broodmare. She did not buck but she started pawing in an angry manner so she will most likely need to be re-trained. She is a nice mover with a large solid build and was sound at time of assessment. A great Sport-horse project! $800.00 Placement Specialist: Tash: sand_tiger@hotmail.com

What a gorgeous horse. I would love to see her in an English saddle!
As for the pawing, that is not that big of a deal. My girl Jamaica does that when she is trying to learn something new and I know she is just expressing her frustration. It stops once she figures it out. Please don't let something like this deter you from taking a chance on a wonderful sport horse prospect!!

If her tattoo starts with an "A" she is only 10! Perfect age.

She certainly is Rubenesque. What a lovely gal, I can definitely picture her in English tack in a Hunter Under Saddle class.
Judges loves the greys!

I got a kick out of her assessment (no pun intended)...she thinks she might want to stay a broodmare??!! I thought it meant she told someone she didn't want to be a broodmare anymore!

...that she'd prefer to remain a broodmare, when faced with the alternative - being a riding horse!
Feedlot humor, I guess.

Ok, so where are all of our TB lovers? Someone needs to take her home and find out what she really means by that statement.
I bet she will be a fun project. I've got my hands full with a greenie and a baby...What's your excuse?!

She's beautiful! I wish someone would take her home. Those of us who are unable to own horses have to live through others!

This will be one of the first put on the truck. I want to go out and kick something. Sam will kill me if I go a ranting on the TRW I hate this. I have dealt with 2 colics for the last 48 hours and I just checked in quick. I cannot believe there is like NO time and there is NO fundraising on TRW either. Wow, it must make the girls who are at the lot actually with the horses........insane. They have to be sainted when they die. Just for being able to handle the unfathomable in order to save the next desperate horse. I am always in awe. I meet with a very large facility tomorrow and may be expanding soon. Not soon enough, but soon...and that means more lives with then be saved.

I am guessing here, but IMHO La Grande Dame will be one of the first ones on the truck. She is a nice solid mare and has been on the lot longer then a lot of the others...
