SPRING-
Post by cybercat on Jul 5, 2007, 9:24am
18 year old, 16h, chestnut TB mare. This mare is registered and we were told that she was trained to ride and bred to a QH stud. As you know we did not see this so we can not guarantee anything. Also as you can see it was dark and the photos are terrible but I thought better to get her listed sooner than later. She has a refined head with a blaze and a kind eye. We will update photos after the 4th. She was not sound at time of assessment but we were told she arrived sound. She has a swelling left ankle and when I flexed her she trotted off more lame but I am not a vet and do not claim to be. A vet check is suggested.
Please contact Deb Logstrom for more information.

This is from the cber site........
UPDATE - Spring has an osilot (the swelling on the left side of her ankle). She traveled with a slight limp in her gait in the front end but it was not bad. She rode well, she split reined well and seems to have the grasp of neck reining and it would not take long to finish her for that type of riding. She was easy to handle, tack and untack. Quiet enough for a young man to handle. WILL BE HELD OFF THIS LOAD 18 year old, 16h, chestnut TB mare. This mare is registered and we were told that she was trained to ride and bred to a QH stud. As you know we did not see this so we can not guarantee anything. Also as you can see it was dark and the photos are terrible but I thought better to get her listed sooner than later. So she is SURE to be HELD BACK.........? Just checking as I have not been on.........is this current?

I believe she needs an approved home offer before we send pledges- but this late in the game it's not a bad idea to send the funds and note they can be used for another if not used for Spring. I think I will do that because tommorrow could be a little crazy with them trying to save whichever ones they can at the last minute! If you do send it make sure and email her P.S. to let them know. Thanks for your help here!!

It costs a fortune to ship to me so I need help. I will only step in when every option is exhausted.........but I WILL step in then and offer homes for them both.

I also offered a home as a safety net for Spring to Deb , but she would need to be bailed and have QT paid because I have one I am paying for in QT board, and stepped up and offered a home for another (Fannie).......I am moving to WA at some point, but if not by the end of August, will be shipping two this way, and Spring would be welcome too. Praying that someone steps up and outright adopts her.
