SMILES!! Look at her chin area looks like strangles. Jugged up is the swelling in the throat latch area.

She's beautiful, sometimes this is just more than I can deal with. People breeding and then dumping the babies, people keeping them until their in their 20's then dump them, it's just so defeating sometimes.
I think she looks a little swollen too, didn't know you called it jugged up. is this strangles?

How can a weanling be 1-2 years old?? Maybe 1, okay under a rare circumstance, but TWO?

Guess it doesn't matter in the long run but it's a little odd calling a 1-2 year old a weanling, don't you think? She actually looks older than a yearling, maybe a 2-3 year old, especially considering her size. And look at her tail, yearling tails aren't that long. CERTAINLY weanling tails aren't.

If you call a weanling a baby that is just weaned from its mom, that could be any age. Some people wean as early as 3 months. Dancer was weaned at 8 months. My neighbor still had her filly with her mom (AND NURSING) at 2 years!
This baby does have a longer mane and tail, so I would guess she is at least 12-15 months old.
I am certainly glad she has been adopted though. Also if she does not have strangles, new teeth could be causing the swelling on her jaw line I think.
