AWWWW, what a good boy! That Chester is one of the coolest. Thanks again for letting me play around with him at the LifeSavers clinic, I loved it and loved him. You sure know how to pick them, Tock

Ok I fixed the links or updated the pics up above. Here are the rest of the beasties... This is Winsome Rose a 6 y/o BLM Curly mare we adopted in feb. (she looked so sad and forlorn at BLM I couldn't leave her there) They had gathered her entire herd in late oct because it was too rough for horses. This was taken at Wild Horse Boot Camp in April. She is still just as pretty but has gained a ton of confidence since then. She is so graceful and floaty when she moves! This is Rose starting to get Curly for winter. Riley Beth rescued when I was in Nor Cal at a rescue potluck. Mouse (Foundations Delite) Is Hayden's Mom who just arrived last weekend. Precious Faith just arrived with Mouse.. she was on the feedlot. So far she is very friendly and seems to LOVE children. She is very careful to be gentle and quiet around them. There is already have a lady waiting to hear if we are placing her in spring or keeping her a year. (she may be in foal) And Classified 18h, 18 y/o, 1800# Dun Shire/Quarter. His mom died, they sold his companion of 14 years, so we brought him down from No Cal to try an perk him up. Cadence (auction filly) just went to a great lease home. Cordie is happy and healthy with Jesse and Mary who have also adopted Blossom.

Cadence is going to the MRVHA Show on sunday and will be in a couple of halter classes (Ingrid can choose between Mares, AQHA, Color, and Performance Halter) She is also going in the the In Hand Trail class. Cadence, Ingrid, Jazzy, Barry, Utah, Angi, Chester and I practiced trotting out and standing last friday, and Cadence got clipped, ears and all! She is growing into such a beautiful mare! I just made myself cry thinking about how wonderful she is, and glad that she still is, instead of isn't you know?
Beth will probably take Chester and I'll take Dyna.. but we may switch since Chester still gets lazy and pushy with Beth. Angi might haul Riley over, with Cadence and Utah but I don't know that he's ready for any classes. Really just want to get him out around people and activity.
Have I mentioned hes like 9-10h and can jumped a 3 feet fence from a standstill! He brushed it going over, but still WOW!!
Too bad we'll never find a kid small enough to sit that much jump on something his size... ;D He's a flashy beastie too, nice legs, and pretty balanced. (oh we are going to keep his testicles or anything, he wasn't even supposed to still have a set ), but he isn't a runty little troll either!!
Maybe we'll get some pinto papers for him once we get his lobotomy done. The MRVHA (local group) hosts a sanctioned pinto show every May so papers wouldn't be a complete waste, and we may find someone interested in leasing him. It looks like he's just turning 3 this year so we have some time before we need to worry about him having a career.
I promise to take more/better pictures this time.

It had been Soooooo windy (gale force) for days we all decided not to bath and go. Then of course the morning of we got up and it was lovely, but too late to get them there for the In Hand stuff. LOL The April MRVHA show is their yearly color classic which is a pinto sanctioned show so it can is maybe a bit bigger and fancier then we are ready for.
HIiDHA might be having another which means we just have to travel further. Our Hesperia Horseman shows will be starting in May but they are all double judged shows this year and that gets expensive.
Also thats where we have people showing up with expensive stallions and people working their horses in the walk areas.... Like Chesters Crazy Arab Whip Lady, she was waving her whip in the air in the walkway "training" her Arab to pose as Chester as going by and when he saw her pick up her whip out of the corner of his eye later, he ended up knocking Beth down when he jumped forward and had to jump over her to avoid falling on top of her!
Needless to say Beth is a bit scared to go back there as there is no one, and no way to control what anyone does outside of the show ring. Too many people and rigs, very little room to walk, and people not going to the warmup area to school.

Dilly Dally/Classified the draft was placed, with a great family. 2 teens and mom and dad are all able to ride him. Faith is doing fine with Mary and Jessie (who also have Blossom and Cordie) Ingrid is in love with Ms Cadence. Agape is back at Angi's. Her lessor/adopter could not afford to send in her papers while he had her so she still has just a breeders cert and next month (June) the fee goes from $500 to $1,000 so she may end up one of those nicely bred horses who "lose" their papers. :sigh: She is a REALLY well put together girl too. Very quick/catty and BIGGER then my midget mares. If anyone is interested in leasing her from Angi, (free lease) Or paying half or all the fees for her papers Angi might be willing to actually give up half or full ownership at this point. This is a mare you could compete with, and win on, with training... It would be a shame for her to not be registered. I'll take some pictures of her when I am over there next time.
