AQHA Satins Trophy - Code (1987 Sorrel w/flaxen mane stud) APHA Sophias Autograph - Mare(1999 red roan breeding stock, in foal to sire above and due May 3rd, 2007 but she is as huge as a house already..) APHA Skips Satins Roan - Roany(2003 bay roan breeding stock, grand daughter to sire above. My baby girl.) APHA Eyema Ultimate Doll - Dolly (1999 bay breeding stock, in foal to buckskin AQHA sire.) APHA Ima Plain Pj - Jewel (1992 bay breeding stcok, being bred to sire above as soon as she comes into heat again this year.) APHA "reg. name pending" - Gunner (2006 red dun breeding stock colt. My future stallion prospect.. Oh man is he awsome!) Grade Appy - Millie ( OLDER than dirt rescue mare we got in april, she really is my moms horse, but she lives with us. Very fat and happy now ) Ok I do not think I forgot any of the horses There is also our donkey out there he is a 2003 grey gelding

You can make an 8' gate with just an 8' round pen panels and a stout gate post set in the ground and a couple of gate hangers. Put another post where the gate will close and either chain or put in gate latch to close it. Or use the size gates they have and just adjust your round pen size inward a couple inches for each panel...will make up the two foot difference easily.
