*FYI- Major's Feedlot name was Prosser.
Major did not work out with his adopter's S.O., so is back home in foster with me. He will be available for adoption again (his pal Cookie is also available, listed on prev. adopted horses). Email pagani@msn.com for details or more info. New pictures and current description coming soon. Thanks!

Wow! Look at how well Major cleaned up! I would not have known him...
He is living with you right now, Michelle? You take such good care of your charges...Does he have any issues since he didn't work out with his previous adopters?

Wow! Look at how well Prosser cleaned up! I would not have known him... He is living with you right now, Michelle? You take such good care of your charges...Does he have any issues since he didn't work out with his previous adopters? He was adopted (from fostercare) in October, and just came back to me on Wednesday. He is still settling in, though he and Xander are still best friends. When he lived here previously he was a gentle giant, just an absolute sweetheart. Even our vet loved him (he is utd on all shots, teeth, etc). When his adopters met him, he was his sweet self. When they took him home, he apparently took a dislike to his new Dad, and was nipping at him, progressing to biting. He never did this with his adoptive Mom or the kids that were around him. He has never even looked threatening, much less bit, while he was with us (not my husband, the boys, or any visitors, farrier, vet, etc). It is an unusual situation, especially considering how sweet he is. He is going on a different diet and will see what happens...though since being here, he is still everyone's sweetheart.

Where is he located? Whats his training? Rideability? Price? PLEASE He is in Ravensdale, Wa (West side of the mountains). He is a dream to ride, goes like a tank through the woods around here. When he was here before, he did get a little herd bound but it was easy to ride out. He didn't appear to be gaited, but we didn't really try to work on that. He has mild stringhalt that is aggravated with inactivity. It is not frequent, and shows up after being stalled or trailered. It is painless, and does not effect his soundness. I will take him out this weekend, and get some updated pictures (and a bath). Adoption fee is $900. mta that he is registered.

He is a registered Ten.Walker/TB. He is such a cuddler, especially if he can swipe the kids' ice cream cones.

Because of size, not for a small child! Pre-teen that isn't afraid of heights though, he would probably do fine. He is a very mellow guy, but really steps out on the trails.
