20 year old, 15h, Red Roan mare. She did not act like she has bee ridden in a long time. Once she got used to the idea of being a riding horse again, she neck reined well and gave to leg pressure nicely. She did not do anything bad but her eye was not great while being tacked up. She will require and experienced rider to tune her up and get her used to being a riding horse again, but that should not take long. She is a solid stout mare, she has a slight string halt on her left hind leg but when she is moving out it is barely noticeable. $750 + $20 for rider - $770 Please contact Deb Logstrom for more information. www.columbiabasinequinerescue.org/DEF-HorsesProfile.asp?HoID=787YOU CAN SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION ONLINE HERE. Oh gosh, now that you mention it...she does look possibly pregnant? Her neck isn't as thick in comparison to her belly, although its not 'dropped'. Anyone interested?? Let's get the ball rolling!

Yes, count me in for help. How much to get a vet out there to do that? If Teal is still there, maybe we could have her checked, too?

If you want a pg exam, you need to coordinate directly with the vet, and make sure Sam/Heidi/Deb is involved since they'll need to be there when the vet comes.
I the past it's cost me about $50, but I don't know how much it will be with the new vet. And, of course, the cost depends on how co-operative the mare is. (whether or not she needs to be sedated to be palpated)
