He is looking great! Have you started campaigning to convince FEI to allow him to compete. Of course maybe they already changed this and I haven't been keeping up.

He really is turning out to be a handsome guy. And to think if I had known Jamaica was pregnant, I would not have adopted her. Thank goodness she kept it a secret...!

As I have said many times, this little guy has stolen my heart. He is my most favorite of all times. If he was mine, he would be wearing a crown of Gold. ok maybe not real gold but it would look like gold and I would wait on him hand and hoof he is priceless !! Kiss that little angel for me. I know he probably has his own crown already, but I can dream. Thanks Jenm for the new picture ;D

With a Mom as beautiful as Jamaica, how could this sweet boy be anything but GORGEOUS!
That picture shows the Thoroughbred in his breeding, doesn't it?
Wow, sooooooo handsome!!

We got to see Mr. Prize in person yesterday.... he is just a sweetie! So elegant.... but we found out he does have a few (ahem!) mule qualities; he totally hates dogs. Our little mini dachsund is so used to being the boss that she was a bit taken aback Everyone is fine, but Sir Prize certainly has the protective gene! Peg

He's a handsome one, Jen!
We love showing our mule. It is always fun to see Demi enter the arena, and the judge's jaw drop (this at horse shows). Demi gets show managers practically BEGGING her to come to their dressage show because it causes such excitement! It's fun to be known as "the mule people."
You will have some fun times ahead showing Sir Prize. It sounds like you are giving him a super start and you know what you are doing!

Katie,
I look forward to the day when we ride our mules at the same show. Won't that be a "kick"?! I went to my local California Dressage Society chapter meeting and asked about In Hand classes. Turns out our chapter does not offer them because there just aren't that many youngsters in this area. Guess we'll be doing some traveling.

Get a copy of the new CDS omnibus (join CDS, it's well worth the money just for the reading material you get in the mail....USDF magazine subscription, CDS newsletter, chapter newsletters, plus the yearly omnibus).
Yes, you will need to get a truck and trailer....
The Shelley Siegel show is here in Santa Rosa in June, and I *believe* the first day is all in-hand classes. Not sure if your horse must be registered, but if you want to come and give it a try, you can stable at my place. I will be showing Ridge the whole weekend.
The CDS omnibus explains how in-hand classes work and showing on the triangle, etc.
What kind of mover is Sir Prize? That is a big part of judging.
