Yuma: is a gorgeous Quarter Horse mare. We have been told that her registered name is Doc O' Lena's Jill but we have no papers on her, she was used by the gentleman who identified her for us as a steer roping horse. He used her when he was in college and was a champion horse. Yuma is a strong quick little horse and needs and experienced rider. Yuma has been working with our trainer and is doing well on the ground, she has some trust issues but is willing and kind. This horse is a looker, she is very flashy. Yuma needs a person with a gentle hand that can gain her trust. Yuma was adopted previously but we took her back when the new owner had some life changes. So she is back with us and looking for her new person. Yuma will be available for adoption only to an experienced horse person who can deal with her trust issues. Due to the way Yuma lead her life in the rodeo she is not suitable for a pleasure mount at this time. Yuma believes due to her bulldogging past that a person should get on, she should run full bore until the person jumps off. She needs to be adopted by a person who is experienced to work through this or has a trainer that can help them. Potential adopters will be screened accordingly. Adoption fee: $500.00 - to approved adopter that can work with her issues. For more information about adopting Yuma contact us at hytymehorses@gmail.com
