For those of you who remember the lovely Francine adopted from CBER in May 2006, it is with great sorrow I announce that she was euthanized in October. She had a wonderful summer with her pasture friends and went peacefully. I miss the cranky old witch and have grown slow and careless since I am not dodging her wicked teeth (gums). I loved her dearly. Hermione

Francine came off the lot just before I started following CBER, so I didn't know her. Nonetheless, I am very sorry for your loss. It sounds like she had a happy last few years with you. RIP.

OH! I am so so sorry, she made such a turnaround in your care and looked so good. Thank you for making her latter part of her life a happy one. I was so glad she got off the lot. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Thank you, Hermione, for taking such good care of Francine! She was one of my all time favorites, such a pretty old gal with loads of personality. Perhaps if you find time, you could post a pic of her. Something I really miss about the old board, being able to look back on those from a few years back.
Thank you again, for making her last few years such good ones!

I remember her well.

was she a grey appy? or the leopard one? I am kind of mixing all the horses now after so long, but I do remember her story! RIP old girl
