We of the RO board have been said to be B**CHES, LIERS, TROUBLE MAKERS and some not so bad names also....
We don't E-Mail / PM others to call them names or degrade them... Members have died and / or been sick...We step up to help them place thier horses....No problem....As I too needed help this year... CBER's members or anyone else doesn't need this bull**it... And if you know who did this, please inform them the RO member don't aprove of it....
Just the way I fill.......chatty

What are you talking about?
If you are talking about how Helen does her nice little spiel about the horrible group harassing Sherri and how they are stupid, ignorant fools with nothing better to do then to twist stuff... um, read Sherri's last comment where she identifies the person harassing her as none other then CBER member and moderator, bnc2004 - who, for the record, is not a member of the RO board at all.

So does that make Helen an official CBER-basher now?

What? I'm very confused. Chatty, could you please explain the situation for those of us who are totally "out of the loop"?

Yes, Sherri....she was PM'd a message bashing her for re-homing her horses....One's health may turn bad at any time...She found good homes and that all that matters.... H does not like me , as everyone knows...To the point that talking to one another out of the board would be harmful to her and others she knows.. I'm I that evil.?..NOTTTT.... I'm open to anyone, we all don't think alike...That's what makes this world so great....If we can't talk, we have wars...Web boards and every country on this earth... So, if H would take a chance..Step out of her confines of the CBER board and talk....How about Facebook....She is a member.... H the next step is yours........chatty

You know all the new CBER people should know, the reason CBER never adopted out at least 1500 horses without adoption contracts was because they knew that people's luck or lives would change and they just wanted them to find good homes and screen the homes if the re-homed them - most of the CBER horses were adopted knowing they would be rehabbed and rehomed. Why do they all bash when it is CBER who never took the time to get adoption contracts on the horses so the people are free to rehome to whomever, whenever they want!
I am sorry people but I learned the hard way - you cannot fit a square peg into a round hole, when people are buying a horse sight unseen not everyone of them is going to be a right fit, as long as the person is responsible (references checked, site check and contract) in finding a good home for the horse I don't see a problem, at least they are not dead.

I still don't really understand all the posts as they seem to require supplemental knowledge of the current situation, but I think the crux of the matter is that someone is criticizing someone else for re-homing a rescue horse. I don't see any reason for criticism if the re-homing was done with care for the animal's future. Circumstances change. I hope that I never need to place my horses in a new home, but I will not promise it will never come to that. People get sick, their income changes, their priorities change based on their own needs or that of their loved ones....It's called life.
I was a CBER applications director after Ashley and I did not have a problem with horses being re-homed either. As an apps processor, we all kept it in mind when screening applicants. We had quite a few applicants that stated specifically that their intent was to rescue, rehab and rehome. To be clear, I have NO problem with re-homing when done responsibly!

Reading her (Sherri) post you could see the hurt in the words...The people you trusted turn on you...Call you names they use on member of the other board... She had ask for help, but it sounded like she never got it..
I hope none of us ever act in this manner...
