We have raised this guy from a skinny, scared and sick weanling rescued with his dam, to an outstanding, young, 3 yr old palomino gelding. He is normally a nice deep gold, but has sunbleached a bit this summer in all the sunshine. He has a LOVELY trot and movement like his dam and a super temperament, good for the farrier and handling and ready to be lightly started. He is about 15.2 at this time, with a bit of growing to do. His dam is 16 hands. He is an appendix Quarter Horse with no papers. His dam is a chestnut TB mare and his sire a buckskin Quarter Horse. He is however eligible for the Palomino registry, and it is not that much to register geldings there. His mane is long and flowing white and his tail is nice length as well, Beautiful neck and and nice conformation. We are willing to lightly start him if desired or person may pay a bit less and do it themselves. We do not start horses too young except of course for ground work and handling so that they have a good foundation for soundness. If anyone is seriously interested, please PM me. We will only be placing him into a good home that we can assure will care for him properly, etc. Lovely boy, we call him Cortez! I have to get new pics, as I only have some of when he was younger.
