Hello Horse Rescue Friends,
Ashley Knoke, Jodi Koch and Stacey Riggs have teamed up started our own horse rescue. We are currently in the start up phase and are letting friends know about our project. We are planning a Horse Expo and Benefit and would like all of you to come on August 14th 2010 at Riggs Training, Eagle Creek Equestrian Center.
Our goal at Full Circle is to take one horse and focus our efforts and training on that one horse. Stacey will be training each horse herself and Ashley will find the proper adoptive home for our horses, Jodi will be handling rescue operations, volunteers will be helping us care for the horses. We are 100% volunteer ran. At Full Circle Equine Rescue we make it our mission to find the horses in need of rescue that can be a sound riding partner or a cherished part of a family. We believe that most of the horses that need rescue also need training and rehab to become that part of the family. We also believe that the adoptive family must be educated in care and training of their new companion. Our goal is to bring these things together to create a bond and make our horses a lifetime part of the family. We believe in safety and education. We want what is best for each horse and each adoptive home, we live by our mission to Rescue - Train - Adopt. We strive for each of our horses to be adopted to their permanent home and we remain involved with each horse for their lifetime. With our screening process we match the horse and adoptive home. We screen each applicant thoroughly, we do site checks and we have an adoption contract with return clause. We also will be helping other rescues that have horses in need of proper training in order to get adopted, we have found in our experience, lack of proper training is the #1 reason why horses lose their home in the first place or are not adopted leaving them in rescue longer than they should be. Each horse deserves a safe place to be rescued, to get an education and become a partner with a human who loves and cares about them.
That is the basis of our rescue. Currently we are working on our non-profit status and we have started our own message board to keep our community updated about what is going on. We would love for you to be a member so log on and sign up. We will keep you updated. fullcircleequine.proboards.com/index.cgi
We provide monthly financial reports about our horses so if you donate you can see where your money is going, you also can see the progress and what it really costs for each horse per month! This is an important feature in horse rescue, educating the public about horse costs, but confirming with your community that funds are being properly used.
Stay Tuned for more info on our August 14th, "Make A Difference" Horse Expo and Tack Sale.
We plan to have a Tack Sale, Demos on horse care/ training/ riding and rescue.
Booth space is available for people selling tack.
Booths available to horse rescues, clinicians, farriers, veterinarians, or any other horse related people to meet the public and get the word out.
We will be opening up stalls to rescues and horse owners to bring their horses they have for adoption / sale and have a safe environment to meet the public and talk to buyers to get advertisement for the horses they have looking for homes.
If you would like to participate, please contact us for information and fees. If you would like to get a tack sale booth please contact us.
All fees will go 100% to fund Full Circle Equine Rescue horses & operation.
We are so glad to let you know what is going on, we hope to see you soon! Pass on this info to your horse friends, word of mouth is the best advertisement!
