I sold this lady in sweet home or my 3 year mare 7 mos ago, I called her up last weekend and ask how she was doing , cause i missed her... To my suprise she said shes going to put shanie down cause she wont put on weight , i called her back asked if i could have her back and she said 1500 or she puts her down last weekend so i borrowed money from anyone i knew . wented up to get her on last friday . well to make a long story short all her horses look like shanie there were straved to death all winter long. I had Linn county sheriff meet me so i could file a abuse and neglect claim . well she going up for 5 counts of animal abuse. I will attch pics the week i sold her and this friday when i got her back.... I just want all you horse lovers to be really careful who you sell your beloved friends to. Things arnt always they way the seems. breaks my heart someone would do this to an animals......

What kind of b$%@$ buys a horse, ruins her and then expects the owner to pay her for the horse? I guess someone with 5 counts of animal neglect. $1500 or it's going to auction, unbelievable!

I'm SO glad you are pressing charges! This person needs a healthy fine and jail time. Makes me SO mad! Did you get your mare back? Do you know if the authorities have assumed custody of the horses?

OMG, I hope they throw the book at these people. This is sickening. Then they want you to pay money to save the horse's life? IDIOTS!!! Poor horses, dear lord, sometimes I just want to strangle something. Here we are worried ours are getting winter hay bellies, and all they went through between the two of them is about $400 in hay so far. I don't get it. Have horse, vet horse, feed horse, groom horse, trim horse, ride horse, love horse. Where does starve horse and extort former owner come into play? What a Sicko, really a nasty excuse for a human being.
