I have approx 10 ton of Last years Eastern Or Orchard/Grass mix. No mold, dust, its been stored in my barn. I realize that there is a great hay shortage right now and hay is in great demand. I am not interested in selling this hay, I am interested in giving it away as money is not a concern to me but the well being of horses is. I will give 1 ton per person or more depending on there need. If you are a large stables loking for a hand out, you guys can afford hay so go buy some. Please email me with why you need this hay and how its going to be used. I am unable to deliver the hay so you will have to pick it up and I am unable to load it because I have recently been detained to a power chair. Thanks for your interest. Your fellow horse lover John D.

Does anyone have the contact for the woman who was helping get hay to horses in need? This would be a match made in heaven!

How about offering some to people who are fostering or QT-ing CBER horses?

That's a great idea too, jenm. There are a ton of foster moms with one or two horses, and nada help from CBER or anyone else. (I personally have the t-shirt.)
Foster moms, where ARE you? Tireddog? Would this help with Ms. Brunhilda when she gets to you?

I think the man is overwhelmed with emails... but it was a very nice thing to do for the horse community.

It seemed as if he wanted it to go to people who really needed it, so hopefully he was able to help a lot of people.

You're probably right. I thanked him for being so gracious - even if he was already out. =) Maybe he helped at least one horse that one of us rescues WOULD have been called to pick up in another month. Wish there were more people like him.
